SUPIMA Wins Office Project of the Year

April 9, 2020

As the world grapples with COVID-19 and maintaining the health and safety of everyone, live events, meetings, and the like are going virtual for the first time ever. Included in this list are the Real Estate and Development (RED) Awards. Airing on April 8, 2020, the annual award ceremony recognizes the most impactful projects around the state of Arizona.

SUPIMA’s office headquarters was named Office Project of the Year Under 100,000 SF. The award adds to the buildings list of accolades, including ENR Best Small Projects. Jokake shares this award with architect RSP Architects.

SUPIMA Cotton, the World’s Finest Cotton, boasts a stunning design-build office building in Tempe. Garnering inspiration from Supima’s commitment to quality and luxury, the building’s architecture blends utilitarianism and elegance. Colors and textures of the masonry screen walls and interior draperies exude elegance; whereas the exposed structural elements and the masonry screen walls highlight some of the more functional aspects of design. Despite Supima’s notoriety as an international organization, the company’s history is rooted in Arizona and proudly represents one of the state’s “5 C’s.” The Owner was intentional in assembling a collaborative design and construction team that could ensure the finished product of their office complex would reflect some of its rich, local origins.
