Municipal and government facilities can be some of the most sensitive working environments in the construction industry. Working on these projects often involves dealing with older buildings, and always involves a need to do the work with minimal disruption to public services.
Jokake Construction’s expertise in working in occupied environments is particularly critical when working on such projects. Our Municipal Team develops plans to ensure that the important services being provided in each facility can continue while key improvements are made that will serve the public interest.
And, our team knows that when dealing with publicly funded projects, a close eye on budget constraints is not only important, it’s imperative.
Jokake’s track record in working with public facilities is unmatched in Arizona, and there’s a reason — our commitment to ensuring an exceptional construction experience for our clients and for the public they serve.
Jokake was given the challenge to modernize the Saguaro Library, minimize costs, and avoid disruption to the community. The result was a satisfied client, a new center for community activity, and the APWA project of the year for 2009.
The Maricopa County Stadium District wanted to offer businesses and groups a great new location to hold corporate meetings and parties. Jokake renovated a 6,000-square-foot conference area to make it ideal for such events.
This interior renovation of the 10,000-square-foot Juniper Library for the City of Phoenix needed to be done in just four weeks to minimize the amount of
downtime residents would experience.
The City of Sedona recognized the need to upgrade their outdated public pool. Jokake helped to make this facility more energy efficient, and created a new destination for City of Sedona residents.
As a design-builder, Jokake worked for the Maricopa County Stadium District to build a better experience for Diamondbacks fans. The three-month project included renovations of executive lounges and restrooms and upgrades to infrastructure.
During the offseason, Jokake helped the Diamondbacks upgrade their lineup boards. The new technology gives fans not only clearer information on the game, but also uses less energy than the old boards.
