Joe Was Here: Mountain Park Health Center

Joe Was Here: Joe dropped by the Mountain Park Health Center in Maryvale this past week. This 37,000-square-foot project included an interior rehabilitation of an old Harkins movie theater and retail stores.

Joe Was Here: ASU Dean’s Patio

You can see Joe at the recently renovated ASU Dean’s Patio in between the MU & Business buildings on the Tempe Campus! This fast-track renovation included demolition and reconstruction of the entire School of Business plaza area.

Joe Was Here: Paradise Valley Community College Q Building

Joe recently visited Paradise Valley Community College’s Q Building. This project involved expanding, upgrading and renewing the school’s library building into a fully integrated part of the PVCC campus – all without disrupting the AAEC Charter High School which had to maintain classes throughout construction.

Joe Was Here: Bar-S Foods North American HQ

Joe Was Here: Check out Joe at the new Bar-S Foods North American Headquarters. This project is tenant improvement of class “A” office space, and includes a Sky-Fold wall, elegant glass wall tile and stone flooring, a booming A/V system, Heculite glass doors and walls throughout, and a full state-of-the-art commercial kitchen to test new products.

Joe Was Here: Kutak Rock

Earlier this week, Joe visited the offices of the Kutak Rock law firm in Scottsdale. Jokake built out their existing space and is currently working on a three-phase expansion of the offices, working in occupied spaces and over the course of two floors. See the photos on this blog post!

Joe Was Here: Maricopa Skill Center

Joe’s been at the Maricopa Skill Center in Phoenix, where Jokake is working on the ground-up construction of a second building for the educational center as well as an extensive interior remodel of the existing building — with a minimum of disruption for the center’s important programs.

About our new look…

At Jokake Construction, we’ve never thought of ourselves as a boring, stodgy company. We’ve taken great pride over the years in the relationships we’ve developed and the hard work we’ve done…but also in the unique corporate culture we’ve built. Our goal has always been to make Jokake an enjoyable company to work with and a great place to work.

So when we recently decided to rebrand the company, we wanted to develop a brand identity that reflects our way of doing business and the construction experience we provide to our clients. We wanted something that reflects the construction industry, but also conveys our personality and shows how we are different from other companies in our field.

Jokake Pinewood Derby raises $12,000 to benefit Boys and Girls Clubs

Jokake Construction held its Fourth Annual Pinewood Derby Day on October 28 and helped raise more than $12,000 to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale.
