Project Manager, Healthcare (specializing in Healthcare Tenant Improvement construction)
General Summary:
A Project Manager is responsible for the ultimate financial success of projects, the development of long-term client relationships, and the creation of strong partnerships within Jokake's community.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Technical / Operational
Manages projects from the bid process, through job start, job tracking, and close-out.
Have a working knowledge of Pre-construction services especially conceptual estimating.
Executes project management process through Timberline Project Management
Negotiates, writes, and executes owner contracts and subcontract agreements
Reviews and submits client change orders
Performs conceptual estimating and bidding
Manages job performance for financial success
Develops strategies to control job cost
Expedites lead items and the submittal process
Conducts permit process for all Maricopa County cities
Approves and submits job invoices in a timely manner
Attend all owner meetings and run construction meeting
Have a complete understanding of ICRA requirements
Team Building / Leadership
Supports Superintendents with the execution of the project from start to finish
Provides timely and accurate information to other departments
Openly communicates with team members
Attends company meetings and events
Supports JCC Safety Program
Relationship Management
Actively pursues clients and creates long term relationships for re-occurring revenue
Creates strategic alliances with subcontractors/vendors
Supports and respects other relationships within the community, i.e. architects/engineers
Minimum Requirements
5 years experience in healthcare construction
Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Possesses a cultural fit with Jokake
Highly self-motivated
Project Superintendent, Healthcare
Jokake Construction is seeking outstanding qualified Project Superintendents for our Healthcare Sector. This position requires 5 to 10 years of solid hands-on experience in hospital or related healthcare construction projects. Qualified candidates must support Jokake's Business Concept and emulate Jokake's Core Values in order to be considered. Also required is complete knowledge of ICRA requirements, safety for staff, patients and visitors, as well as a working knowledge of medical gas systems and specialty systems such as nurses' call, paging, e-power and security.
