Rosa Dooley, P.E. joins Jokake Construction as Project Manager
April 21, 2017
Commercial general contractor Jokake Construction Services has hired Rosa Dooley as a Project Manager. During her 20+ years of experience in commercial real estate as a structural engineer at Gervasio & Associates Consulting Engineers, Rosa conducted field investigations, structural inspections and designed structural repairs – experience that lends itself well to Jokake’s growing role as a ground-up contractor. Rosa spent the last six years managing $24 million in structural repairs at Chase Field.
The hire is part of Jokake’s strategic growth to provide greater service and value to the commercial real estate industry. “Construction is only one aspect for the real estate industry at large,” said Director John Parnell. “Jokake’s vision is to increase our involvement in all aspects of the real estate cycle in order to maximize value for our clients.”
Rosa holds a Professional Engineer designation and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University. She has held various subcommittee and board positions with the Arizona Chapter of ICRI (International Concrete Repair Institute); she is currently serving as the 2017 Vice President.
When asked why Jokake was the next step for her professionally, Rosa remarked “Making this professional change was very strategic for me. As an engineer I’ve developed the ability to identify potential conflicts in design drawings prior to construction and during construction to then develop proactive solutions. As a Project Manager for Jokake I’m excited about bringing my experience as an engineer to new and larger projects.”
